We are currently looking to recruit a number of Loaders to join our team at Gate Gourmet. You will work on a shift basis which includes early / late shifts, weekends and bank holidays and will be responsible for the loading and unloading of food and equipment from lorry to aircraft. You must ensure that loads are distributed securely and signed for at the point of collection. In conjunction with the Driver you will be required to carry out appropriate daily checks on vehicles and report any defects. It is essential that you comply with and are responsible for all Gate Gourmet and Customer Security process and procedures at all times.
Successful candidates will have strong customer service skills and a good standard of written and verbal English. You will have a positive attitude to work, the ability to work to tight deadlines and be flexible in your approach. You will hold a current and clean driving license. Previous experience of working in a Production/Manufacturing environment is beneficial. This role requires a criminal records check and 5 years covered for referencing purposes.
