Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer of food, based near Gatwick. We are looking for a number of candidates with relevant management/ supervision experience. Candidates with strong management skills that  will slot into a very busy team in an extremely demanding environment whilst completing very operational role

The requirement is for a shift managers to manage the team and deliver business objectives. We have 2 permanent roles and 2 contract roles

General duties include;

• § Leading by example by completing operational duties within the production process (70% of the role)
• § Staff management supervision (performance management, disciplinary, grievances etc) of up to 30 staff members per shift
• § Staff Shift and Rota management
• Ensure KPI's are met
• § Contract hours are 42 hrs per week

  

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in dealing with heavy workloads and juggling' many tasks at once as well as ;

• § 1 + years of front line operational management experience
• § Proven experience of managing within a manufacturing, catering, retail or production process
• § Understanding of budgets and KPI's

We are looking for candidates with supervision/ management experience who want progression. This is a highly operational/ hands on' role. 70% of the time is spent operational and 30% management
