Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer of food, based near Gatwick. We are looking for a number of candidates with relevant shift production experience. Candidates with strong management skills that  will slot into a very busy team in an extremely demanding environment. The requirement is for a shift managers to manage the team and deliver business objectives.

Section/ shift managers will cover various sections including;

• Service delivery
• Production
• Equipment Processing
• Bond management

General duties include;

• § Staff management
• § Staff Shift and Rota management/ ensure shift
• Performance management
• Ensure KPI's are met

Resolve operational issues

• § Recruitment
• § Contract hours are 42 hrs per week

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in dealing with heavy workloads and juggling' many tasks at once as well as ;

• 2+ years of front line management experience
• Proven experience of managing within a manufacturing or production process
• Understanding of budgets and KPI's
• Understanding of health and safety, food hygiene
